Match report Sunny day at Datchworth but with a good wind chilling the spectators! Fanny won the toss and took the safe option of bowling.
After a mixed start (9 no balls from tricky all waist height!) Fanny picked up the openers and Datch were soon cruising at 110 for 2. Bun came on, took 2 wickets in 2 balls, with 2 more wickets coming to Bun and Dinghy Datch were 126 for 6. Fanny suggested 160 would be a nice total to chase, big mistake...Tony's twin borther came in, smashed 38 with two hockey shots and Datch posted 201 on a tough wicket, Bun and Dinghy both collected good 4 fors...
The Saracen chase started well, Trickys good day continued by scoring 1, Fanny, Bungle, Jenks, Squibby & Dinghy all chipped in but no major partnerships nor big scoring meant we were all out for 173...Bun got 8 though!
