Match report Fanny lost the toss and the Reed skipper asked us to Bat, Fanny departed early leaving Tricky and Vinnie to restore the innings, both batted well and at 20 overs we were a respectable 90 for 1. After the drinks break Bun suggested some attacking shots would be order and we were soon 140 at 30 overs. Vinnie made a fine 69 and Tricky supported with a good 37. Squibby and Flipper made sure we passed 200 with a partnership of 53 in 6 overs. Good batting.

Reed used the chance to have a net and never really threatened the target. Dinghy and Bun bowled superbly holding down an end. Rabbit bowled well followed by Chas (whose first 5 overs went for 20, his next 2 went for 28!!!) and Dave who cleaned the tail out including 2 wickets with his last 2 balls, possible hatrick next week then! The only Reed batter who had a go (in the last over) ruined the good bowling figures of Fud. Good win. Extras = 44 in the innings!

W Award = Matt 'Fanny' Ayre (Dropped when batting, dropped a catch off Bun & let Shane bowl!)
