Match report Off to Enfield for Second week in a row to play botany bay. Bad start for a very tired new skipper- vince- lost the toss and we were batting first. A good start between the two richards(Gough and Young ) saw us reach 50 but noone could go on and only a fine 46 from Damo (Highest score for club )helped us to 176 all out.
Set back during tea when Tony had to return home in an emergency leaving us with 10 in the field.
Got off to a good start in the field taking three early wickets ( a great one handed catch in the gulley by 28 year old Dingy for the first and a great run out by richard Young for the 3rd ) . Unfortunately that was it and helped by the bay skipper and his 76 our target was reached with the loss of 6 wickets. A good fielding display and good catches were not enough. 20 more runs and it would have been interesting
