Saracens Cricket Club Won By 7 Wickets

Match report In a little bit of sunshine Saracens played Southgate Adelaide, Fanny won the toss for once and asked the home team to bat. Rich Gough bowled brilliantly and with Tricky we had the first 3 batters out for only 19 runs. The Adelaide number 3 smashed Tricky for 22 in one over but Rich G held his nerve and picked up a good 5 for on a very lively wicket. Bun and Dinghy made sure the run rate never got very high and at 52 for 7 it looked like an early finish!
Batters 8 & 9 put on 61 together and Fanny mentioned not chasing 120 on the wicket, low and behold we bowled them out for 119.

Fanny and Tricky fell in the 2nd over but Vinnie and Del had a 95 run partnership before Vinnie chipped one back to the bowler. Del went on to get an excellent 62 and made sure the game was won.

W Award = Shane 'Chas' Gough (Fell over in the field, black socks and took his pads of being so 'confident' before Vinnie got out)
