Match report Last game of the UK season, good weather and Fanny negotiated the toss and Chingford batted first. Squibby got lost on the way to the ground, was late and snaffled the W Award nice and early. Tricky bowled well, Dave not so good, Bun and Dinghy kept things tight and Fanny snuck in with a crafty 5for. All in all Saracens bowled 50 over’s and kept Chingford to a very competitive 199 all out.
Fanny didn’t trouble the scorers again (Golden Duck), Tricky batted well and hit a nice 6 off his legs. Dolly, Bungle, Squibby and Minge didn’t stick around long but Dave batted well and made a very powerful 68. Dave fell with 16 runs left to win and despite a great rear guard action from Rabbit, Skid and Bun we fell and agonising 9 runs short. Good game of cricket.
