Match report New fixture picked up at conference Jack of Diamonds (Potten End), nice little ground, bloody freezing cold miserable day!
Fanny won the toss and inserted the hosts, at 20 for 3 it looked like an easy day so some bowling changes happened to 'open the game up'. A powerfully built number 6 came in, smashed the front line bowlers over the boundary and houses roughly 10 times on his way to an awesome 103 not out. On an interesting and lively pitch we were suddenly chasing 208.
Fanny, Tricky, Vinnie & Rich all got starts but no one really pushed on but we held out well for a sensible draw in the dark. Flipper and Ducky got to have a little knock at the end and we posted 126.
