Match report Picked up Dunstable Town at Conference, great weather and really nice place to play cricket. Slogger, Fud and Rich Gough all pulled out or just didn’t turn up leaving us with a weakened 10 men. Fanny negotiated the toss and we fielded.

Peter Young (cousin to Woody) made a good UK debut and together they bowled 16 overs for 53 and picked up 3 wickets. Good start but Dunstable had reversed their batting order meaning Bun, Dinghy & Tricky took most of the punishment with their number 7 scoring 93 (Fanny missed the stumping chance early on!). We did well to hold them to 217.

Run chase started well with Fanny, Tricky, Butch, Dinghy & Helmet contributing 4 runs alltogether meanwhile Vinnie stayed strong with a good 42. The real partnership was Ducky & Woody who put on 73 with Woody eventually going for a fine 54 that included 6 huge 6’s. All out for 150.
