Match report Hottest day of the year at Abridge, Fanny won the toss and elected to field first (useless skipper). Warrick 'Wok' Height made his international UK debut while on holiday to help us out.

Abridge batters gorged themselves on a belter of a track with a real lightning outfield. Despite all of the bowlers actually doing pretty well Bun was the only wicket taker of note picking up 4for, Abridge posted a very gettable 274 for 5 in 40 overs. Woody took a superb catch in the outfield.

Saracens chase started well, Fanny missed a straight one second ball and Ducky (or Crispy) soon followed leaving it up to Tricky to martial the innings. Tricky batted with fine style to notch up his first 50 since Majorca 2010 and with support from Wok & Minge we managed to score a respectable 199 for 9 off our 40. Bun gave Dinghy out caught behind despite him not hitting it!!!
